The Paul Glenn Family Memorial Scholarship

The Paul Glenn Family Memorial Scholarship honors Paul and Eleanora Glenn and their son Eldon. After Paul's passing in 1984, his family established this scholarship to assist Ford County 4-Hers in agricultural projects and pursuits.

Paul and his wife, Eleanora, enjoyed working with 4-H and encouraging them to excel in numerous 4-H programs. A charter member of the Ford County 4-H Foundation, Paul also served as a Community Leader while his children - Eldon, Larry and JoAnn - grew up. Members of the Prairie Schooners 4-H Club, in Dodge City, all of Paul and Eleanora's children were long term members, with Eldon reaching his 11th year membership.

After reaching adulthood, Paul and Eleanora's son Eldon continued their tradition of supporting 4-H in Ford County. As the manager of the local Orscheln Farm Supply Store, Eldon assisted 4-Hers and promoted the 4-H program until his retirement and passing in 2014.

After Eleanora's passing in 2018, the family chose to rename the scholarship the Paul Glenn Family Memorial Scholarship to honor Paul, Eleanor and Eldon.
